Hackers are preparing to feed on liquor, caffeine, code, and hyperbole at another Yahoo-sponsored "Open Hack Day" this weekend. Beck kicked off the event in 2006 with a 90-minute concert. Rumors are flying about who will grace the Yahoo campus green this year. Don't look to Yahoo Answers for any hints. (The "Mystery Concert!!!?" thread from 6:39 a.m. this morning has already been deleted.) However, Eric from says it's Girl Talk, a reformed engineer turned DJ notorious for quasi-naked concerts. We hear that it starts at 8 p.m., and security on the main lawn of Yahoo's campus, if any, will be minimal. Heck, if there's any event where party crashing should be welcome, it's Open Hack Day. For those of you citybound tonight, gussy up in the name of global change for Spark's annual Black and Pink Ball Ball at Mezzanine. Cover band Livewire headlines the fundraiser, which is promising attendees a night of entertainment and society from 7 p.m.-1 a.m. (Photo by [177])
