They also wouldn't slap someone with *criminal* charges for violating a website's terms of service... well, until now. And if it works, look out: if you can be jailed for violating a site's terms of service with someone winding up dead, you will certainly be jailed for someone debilitated by "emotional distress".

I'm not sure if Valleywag's TOS says I'm prohibited from disparaging the company (like 99% of people, I didn't read it), but if I say Melissa Gira Grant is yucky, should I expect some G-Men to burst into the room?

Good, because although it's totally wrong and tragic for this young girl, they wouldn't sue the lumber company for making paper if the girl had written a note and stuck it in her locker....
