I think with numbers that big, they can obviously take their time figuring out the steps to monetization (if they haven't already), and make sure they do it right.

I agree with his stance on social networks too. I think media will come full circle and you will start to see more significance on the content being produced. After all, it is the content provided by traditional media that helps fuel sites like Digg or Reddit. No matter how much you may hate the old, the relationship will always be symbiotic; there is no getting away from it.
