and plus .. the girl had be doin some really bad stuff for the father to kill her! like posting nude photos and that crap.
im not saying its good that he killed her .. he took it to a whole other level .. and those r the kinda ppl that make me be kinda ashamed to say im from Saudi Arabia.
and yes, my ppl use facebook in a different way .. a lot of the teenagers here r not as civilised as the rest of the world, that is if you count the rest of the world to actually be "civilised"

As a muslim, I think it is really ignorant to blame Islam, for the actions of people. Nowhere in the article does it say that the father was a muslim, although he probably was it has nothing to do with the fact that he killed his daughter. If we made a poll right now about how many Imams (religous leaders) are in favour in the killing, then you would see how wrong your judgement is.

Why is it that people think that it is the religion of Islam itself that makes a small number of Muslims, commit crimes. If I judged how peaceful a religion is by the scales of what its people have done, Christianity would be one of the most ruthless practices in the world. How many Native Americans, South Americans, Africans, Indians, Chinese, Egyptians, have died in the hands of "righteous Christian Warriors" - MILLIONS. A great example is Christopher Columbus, who is responsible for basically molesting the entire Native American population. How about George Bush, who claims his love for Jesus, and is responsible for more civilian deaths than any terrorist group he has claimed war upon. thankfully, I don't judge Christianity by these ignorant standards, and neither should anybody judge a religion by its people.

People's only knowledge of Islam is through the eyes of CNN. How many times has a muslim actually came up to you and threatened your life. How many times have anyof you actually went to a Masjid (like a church) and asked around about what Islam is, to understand why 1 in 5 people in the world are Muslim.

Trust Me there is a reason, that goes beyond the cretinous thinking of both the western media, and the ignorant murderers calling themselves Muslim.

If you dare, answer me why these Christian priests and preachers have become Muslim. Yusuf Estes, a former Christian, is now inspiring many people to turn to Islam/

The problem with many Muslims is that they confuse their traditions with their religion. They might do some "bad" things, and they will be totally convinced that it is part of their religion, but in reality, it is only part of some "bad" traditions that were piled up over time.

Now observers will judge the religion based on the acts of its people, because many of those people will say: "Our religion tells us to do so", not knowing that such acts are based on their traditions or even misunderstanding of their own religion.

The other problem is that usually this type of news will be dugg, but no one will mention what many Muslims are doing to fight poverty in the world for example.
