You guys practically make it up as you go along.

'After Valleywag reported that Yahoo would shut off its shuttle bus service Yahoo CFO Blake Jorgensen allegedly told employees "Don't believe everything you read in Valleywag, but yes, we are cutting off the shuttles."'

Back when you first published that 'alleged' comment by Blake you were corrected in multiple comments to the story. As I too was at the meeting I can testify he did not say 'yes. we are cutting off the shuttles'. He said 'no we at not cutting off the shuttles.'

'Hiring managers' only agreed with what he said and what has subsequently been borne out. I take one of those shuttles every day and the schedule has not changed.

True satire needs to have some basis in fact. Its just boring otherwise.

Now that I think about it, I think the Teri Garr thing is actually supposed to be a joke. Along with "Today's Top Searches: 9. Food Stamps".

OK, that is basically an invitation for his workforce to seek employment at Google, isn't it? He describes the great food, the great transportation... How is that funny? It's like when Uncle Milty put on the dress. The joke reveals a lot more about Blake's mindset than I really care to fathom.

Instead of dreaming about Google employment, why don't you go make "Today's Top Searches" work, Blake. I don't really think Teri Gar is number 4, OK? Seriously, have you even visited your site?
