Let me amend my comments: significant portions of some of the smaller SoMa streets aren't covered (Minna, Jessie, Stevenson, Natoma, Tehama, etc).

Just surf over to Google Maps, and look at the SoMa district. Only the major streets (Mission, Howard, etc., 4th, 5th, 6th) are covered.

If you go downtown, the coverage is even worse. Pine and Bush are covered, but not Post, Sutter, Mason, Powell, Grant nor California.

As a matter of fact, *not* getting covered is more the norm in this part of town.
