]]> <![CDATA[IT professionals split on Obama vs. McCain question]]> I suspect that a lot of Paul supporters (of which I was one) have realized now that not only does Paul not have a chance of getting the nomination (we knew that already) but very little chance of even influencing the platform.

For those of us who want less government in our lives we have to settle for the candidate that tosses us a bone once a year or so (McCain). For those satisfied with the notion that we will all be government employees (or on welfare) eventually, Obama is the obvious choice.

When it comes to Hillary, people are either for or against her based on her personalty and that of her husband. Issues have nothing to do with her candidacy. Of course the sad reality is that that is true of all our candidates these days. The self fulfilling reality of campaigns these days is that the public is incapable of dealing with real issues at anything other than a rock concert emotional level.

It can only get worse from here.
