Wouldn't buying Meebo make more sense? drop in Meebo, then add the ability for friends to chat directly.

They have no revenue to speak of. How much could they cost?

I'm sure it will interact with my MSN, AIM, YM, Jabber, Skype and Gizmo lists real well too.

What this world needs is not more isolated IM clients but fewer.

And interface with an existing network (Jabber would be a good candidate) would make sense. Anything else is just more proof that this company is brain dead.
