VZW's 5GB limit is because their service is, as specified in their TOS, only for web & e-mail. This, I'm assuming, is how they'll enforce that.

Most of the other companies, iirc, don't really care if you, say, stream a radio station on your wireless connection.

I agree that the new EVDO plan is lame, but you are wrong to say that the old plan was unlimited.

Verizon has always defined unlimited as 5gb per month..check out the fine print.

So this is no change in service, just a more accurate definition
