Anyway, if they ever decided to delete all the disk-filling content on YouTube (and they could even keep some of the good stuff) they'll probably have enough space to cache another few years of ordinary web pages. the only good thing about YouTube for Google is that they suckered some of their competitors into launching similar products.

I'd start by expiring content that hasn't been viewed for 6 months (like my excellent videos of Yellowstone). Of course no matter what they do at this point, it'll be called evil. Sorta painted themselves into a corner on that one.
