I can't bring myself to accept a TOS when I cannot see what my real "Privacy" settings are until later in the process. I've worked for list generating companies before, and this sure sounds familiar.

Sure, everything is secure--and I don't doubt that. But is it private? Remember, NotchUp takes no responsibility as to what recruiters do with your resume or email address--nor do they make any guarantees about payments making it to you.

]]> <![CDATA[Dear NotchUp, please stop spamming me]]> seriously, this thing is ridiculous. i received about 10 invitations in the last week or so. something tells me that this thing is about as exclusive and unique as the resume postings on craigslist. especially if they're inviting a chump like me. :) and does anyone else feel a little bit dirty even considering taking money to do a job interview? i mean, maybe if you want to work for pay per post, i could understand it ... now doostang.com for example seems to take a better approach... only people who are desirable get invited, social network be damned... ahh, i feel the cold loneliness of my high school teenage angst all over again...

Users are given the opportunity to import LinkedIn contacts (the OPPORTUNITY to, no gun 2 head).

Users are then give the OPPORTUNITY to send invites to all their contacts.

Stop accepting connections on LinkedIn from people that don't value you and your time. A good contact doesn't spam you.

Its almost MLM/Pyramid style.. if so and so recruits you.. and you get paid.. then they get a fraction. I could be completely wrong or possibly heard the conversation wrong.
