		    <description><![CDATA[<p>I've dealt with Fast Company in the past and I believe him when he says it's their idea. God knows, they're not raking it in on the newsstands lately.</p>
<p>The only SMART, productive use of ads I've seen is Guy Kawasaki's; he doesn't advertise anything he doesn't get money or benefits from, things he's directly associated with. 		    <description><![CDATA[<p>I think Scoble's primary draw has always been his youthful idealism.  One way or another, that will have to be replaced by something else if he wants to keep his "brand" viable.  That tie matches the sideburns.</p>
<p>The punditocracy is full of "specialists" with no technical background.  They are celebrities and themselves consumers of technology, not experts in it.  Society seems to have a need for a certain number of these individuals.  Who can blame those who have had some success at it for milking the system.</p>
