I didn't realize Jason Calacanis owned Mahalo. No wonder their cute girl and cameraman have been giving me the stinkeye. I just figured it was because they were from Hawaii and grumpy, like everyone else from Hawaii.

"blogger" as a term will only stick around for a few more years till everyone realizes it's just a vertical list of reverse chronologically ordered stories.

Coming from an educated journalist, the difference between journalist and bloggers is that a journalist reports things without opinion. And for bloggers that isn't always the case. A blogger can choose to put as much emotion into a piece as he/she chooses.

Coming from an educated journalist...I do believe the real distinction (perhaps not at CES) is that a journalist produces pieces without opinion. A blogger could be as one sided about an issue as he/she chooses.
