		    <description><![CDATA[<p>What will be historic (and surprising) is if Facebook actually changes anything about the way their system works.   It's as closed as it can be at the moment, while Google's stuff generally lets you export to your hearts desire.</p>
<p>My guess is that this is just a PR move by Facebook to counter all the recent negative publicity.  My participation in Facebook is purely experimental and I know many others who are doing the same.  More and more of these accounts are just going to go dormant until they can come up with a new and compelling reason to use the service.
