Aw how cute. Someone called me and left a message, "Hey I was just wondering if this was really your phone number ... this isn't a creep or anything," But yeah, it's in all the PR databases, which leads to this call all the time...

Me: "Hi this is Paul"
PR person: "Hey PAUL, I've got a great story for your mumblemumble section."
Me: "Um, what publication do you think you're calling? I'm a freelance writer."
PR person: [NOW TOTALLY DISINTERESTED] "Oh, um, sorry, it says you're a senior editor at, um ...[SOUND OF DELETE KEY] never mind."

When you get fired from a company like this to get your severance package you have to sign an agreement that you won't talk about anything otherwise you'll have to pay it back.

I'm guessing you could get him to talk if you can pay his $20k - $30k severance.

Otherwise you'll need to wait a couple of years.
