I've heard that Ron has personally made many of the decisions about where to cut. The problem is, that like usual, he doesn't want to get advice from people who actually know things. He's made cuts now like Frankenstein's doctor, but the question is whether he has accidentally taken out vital internal organs. Oops, you need a liver? The question is whether the this organization will be able to function at all after these poorly thought-out cuts. Plus, the incredibly poor execution may have permanently damaged the employee base and may permanently impair the company's ability to execute on anything---except future layoffs.

Good luck to our dearly departed friends, although we who remain behind may be more in need of luck.

Iknowyouknow

Interestingly enough, a bunch of top sales ppl at Advertising.com have left recently, or will be leaving shortly (including some from the NY office). You'd think they would try harder to retain those, but instead AOL seems almost hapy with the attrition (even when it is from some of their better producting reps).

johndemayo
