From a tipster: I'm sure you know this, but Lastfm was being floated for a lot more than 280mm
for some reason, they (and Rimer) agreed to less.
maybe there is lots of upside in an earnout or something.

It's still a presumption that you can invite a load of people to join you as if you're their friend, and you're inviting them to a party, and then say actually you're here so we can show you a load of adverts, and for everyone to stick around and think it's ok.

$280M for an app. that tracks listening habits......

Hey I'll make one for half that cost and it will work on Siri and XM and I won't expect some bloated pay off either..just a hundy million and we're good.
