Steve Jobs and Bill Gates took the stage together at the D Conference in Carlsbad, California, in what was billed as a historic reunion (the last time they had been interviewed together was by Fortune magazine in 1991). The reunion did not disappoint.

That explains why Sergey was noticeably absent from the Google shareholder's meeting....must be the honeymoon. Eric Schmidt awkwardly brushed over his absence, simply stating that he was "out of town".
