One full year later, I think it's pretty safe to say that you should be ashamed there buddy. Although to be fair, your points were definitely valid a year ago and not much has changed since then (with the small exception of lots of money changing hands).

OK, what's stopping YouTube from introducing a 10-sec ad at the start of each video?

One ad that runs for one day in the YouTube network has got to be the most widely viewed that day, globally -- no TV network can compete with that.

So what's stopping them?

That sounds like a simple enough business plan to me.

Poor quality? That would be because You Tube is lax in providing detailed upload info. Some content providers "get-it" though. Check out this promo from Al Gore's new film:

Now full screen? No, but then the bandwidth would be a different story - but at the default size, 2002 it ain't.
