Progressive, the auto insurer, has made it easier to stalk friends, enemies, and frenemies with its online quote tool. Until yesterday, you could just enter someone's name and address, and get a list of registered vehicles. Now it requires a date of birth, too — not that that information is particularly hard to obtain. [Digg]

  • Unfortunately, as of today (Mon, Aug 20, 21:20 PST) the Progressive site *does not* require anything other than the name and mailing address to identify the vehicles registered for that name and address.
