Scoble speaks — uncleweedFor evidence that the hype cycle has accelerated, look no further than the enthusiasm for, and backlash against, Twitter. Evan Williams' new publishing tool, designed for content too trivial even to blog, was the talk of the SXSW festival in Austin this week; while some critics are already writing — RIP Twitter (2007-2007) — the service's obituary. As a concession, the Journal writes, Scoble has created a second Twitter account, called "SilentScoble," where he limits his posts to five a day. A recent dispatch: "It's hard to post less than five posts per day..." Memo to Scoble: No it isn't. [Photo — Scoble speaks — from Uncleweed on Flickr.]
