A look at court records shows a wave of divorce filings, either by husband or wife, when the venture partner hits 42. That's rather later than the average age at which a man in the US gets divorced, which is 34. So, the more established the VC, the more likely they are to stray? And of course the more prominent venture capitalists feature heavily in any sample, simply because people don't gossip about their more obscure colleagues. And four isn't even a sample.
