Valleywag readers were asked to nominate the next product Google should cull, now that it's decided to give up on Google Answers, the expert advice site which was trounced by its Yahoo competitor. The verdict: Joga Bonito, a soccer fan site, the product of the search engine's bizarre marketing partnership with Nike, with 34% of Valleywag readers recommending its termination. Not to be cruel, but this is the kind of initiative one would associate more with Lloyd Braun and Yahoo's high-schmooze media group.
