Rupert Murdoch's News Corporation just announced that Ross Levinsohn, the executive who transformed the media conglom with the Myspace acquisition, is out. Fox Interactive, News Corp's internet division recently also lost Mark Jung, one of its most talented but difficult executives. Levinsohn, before buying the giant social network in one of the smartest deals of the cycle, had built up Fox Sports into a major online rival to ESPN. On Levinsohn's Myspace page, a video clip, not sure when it was put up, from A Few Good Men: Tom Cruise, with the immortal words, Excuse me, I didn't dismiss you.
