We've always known Google didn't take no smack, 'cause Google's a pimp. That's why they pull a Sinatra by doubling up job interviewees and romp on a king-size bed in the corporate jet. With all that pimposity (pimpalation?) it's no wonder they didn't bother to tell New York City Google staff about their new chief, Eileen Naughton.

Google's so secretive that they didn't even tell Eileen's new staff that they had a new boss coming.

Google's sales group in NYC found out about Eileen's hire the same way you did — through the press release.

Needless to say the staff is pretty miffed about it.

Naughton is coming in from Time Inc. (as reported), where people generally don't find out about their new boss via Google News Alert.
