Earlier I noted Jason Calacanis's recent gem from LeWeb3. At the Parisian conference, he told the crowd, "As Internet people we shouldn't bother with people who don't understand the Internet because they'll soon be dead." I also noted that Calacanis hung up on me when I called to confirm he actually said it. It's not as harsh as it sounds, at least according to Calacanis himself, who left a whopping 337-word comment on the post. Here's the 100-word version.
Someone in the audience asked about some old executive. I told her folks like that would be dead soon. Hanging up on Valleywag that made my day! I've been waiting for Nicholas to call so I could say his life is sad. I said, "@#$%@#$!" Nicholas, call me? Mahalo.

A 100-word version of a 337-word comment. Nicholas Carlson wins the Internet.
Calacanis is straight up gay~ He's also his biggest fan and the fan that hypes things like web2.0. The bulldog thing is tired too. If I punch you in the face, you'll know it was me. ;)
@w00zy33: Wow, you've insulted both Calacanis and gay people!
@Nick Douglas: But what's he going to do with it now that he's won it?
What doesn't make sense is that Calacanis is old himself. Seems counterproductive to talk about old people and the internet when you're also old.
@Owen Thomas and Valleywag Staff - Sorry. Was a rough day yesterday. Gays didn't deserve that sling or association to Calacanis. w00zy33 friendly.
Please write article on how he held up plain leaving from CGD airport to SFO. X)
@Owen Thomas: I'm interested building a directory for video game cheats. The competition in the field looks weak.
Doesn't "Mahalo" mean hello & goodbye? Which one is Jason doing?
He's still thinner than Fat Scoble....
