After wooing San Francisco at its hub airport, Virgin America has enlisted seven Internet heroes to pitch the new airline. Seen here are Xeni Jardin, Cory Doctorow, David Pescovitz, and Mark Frauenfelder of Boing Boing; Peter Rojas of Engadget; and Alex Albrecht and Kevin Rose of Diggnation. You can see them in these Virgin cartoon spots, which are like C-minus episodes of Sealab 2021.

uhm - i guess it's nice payback for all of the shilling many of these bloggers have done.
They must have been paid for this, since it amounts to an endorsement and a use of their likenesses for commercial promotion. They certainly signed off on it.
I think this shows how important bloggers are at the moment and how companies see their value!!!
The marketing campaign is working. I've been hearing about Virgin America from friends, word of mouth, twitters, and now on Valleywag. But there's really only one reason I am going to start flying Virgin America to and from the west coast and it's laid out in this spot.
Virgin is always about new, hip ways to reach out to our customers. That's just the Virgin style!

"none of us at BB received tix, miles, any form of compensation for this, nor will we. We'd sure be unsuccessful whores, huh."
Wow, lame. Should've cashed in.
"Virgin America's Virgin Americans"?
And, if you recognize the cartoon depictions of these bloggers, you really should consider stepping away from the machine and possibly going outside.
