Foodie and East Bay lovin'

Today, we're showing love for the East Bay: In Emeryville, WebDev/Web 2.0 SIG is hosting a talk on web form design with Luke Wroblewski, senior principal designer at Yahoo Startup SIG who wants to help "incorporate social media into your startup efforts" by convincing you social media is a great marketing tool and not just a time suck. And millionaire former Googler, chef Charlie Ayers, will be pushing his book, Food 2.0: Secrets from the Chef Who Fed Google at the Silicon Valley Commonwealth Club. It promises to be full of "recipes perfect for the Internet generation." Yeah, we're not sure what that means either — maybe Ayres has creatively removed many vowels from the titles?
