Taking a page from Nebraska's Internet cops, U.S. Representative Mark Kirk (R.-Ill.) has created a fake teen of his own in order to protect real ones. While promoting a bill to restrict access to social networking sites in public schools and libraries, Kirk and Illinois law enforcement detailed the solicitations received by the imaginary 15-year-old female they played in Second Life — to enter "rape rooms," among others. Acknowledging that there were no known cases of sexual assault on underage users at Second Life, Rep. Kirk still called the site an "emerging danger." Now with the addition of his fictional sex-seeking teenage avatar, of course. (Photo by Daily Herald)

Parenting other people's children is not what he was elected to do. He needs to focus on more important things like the economy, jobs and healthcare. he needs to stop the stupid right wing religious scare tactics and do the job he was elected for. People should be watching their kids online its called parenting and its not the governments job.
Hot!
I'd actually pay for Second Life if I could 'virtually rape' politicians. They've been doing it to me for decades.
@matto: +MAX_INT to your suggestion. Hell, I propose making a "rape room" for every idiot in Congress. Perhaps at the state level, too...
@matto: @QADude:
"Rape your congressman" as a constituent service! e-Government in action.
Caution, Internet enthusiasts: a defilement is not a defilement if during it one can munch Doritos (or an intern).
@tootingbec: Obviously you need to work on your dexterity, my friend.
