Today is Duncan Riley's last day of full-time writing for Michael Arrington's TechCrunch, we learned from Techmeme. Riley will move to his own publication, the Inquisitr. "My sincere hope is to have the opportunity to buy that blog some day and bring him right back into the fold," Arrington writes in his farewell.

Sounds like he had a one year contract and couldn't get out a moment too soon
this post wrote itself...
A risky move. Going off on his own means that Duncan will have to worry about complicated things like grammar.
This is HUGE news......
Never heard of him.
They seem to have a lot of trouble keeping people for more than a year.
That is his "good" picture? I'd like to see him with a tripod over his shoulder like Scoble. Now that is a picture you can blog with.
In case anyone misunderstood my comment, what I actually meant was that I plan to own Duncan forever. There is no escape, bitch!
With this TechCrunch takes a step towards journalistic quality.
I guess if I owned techcrunch I'd try to make light of all the turnover, too.
