Pretty fast if you ask me. Some of the individual results are shocking. Especially when you consider that the readership numbers as a percentage of population are already insignificant.
I suspect that it's even worse for the newspaper industry than it appears. We receive a newspaper and we don't pay for it and have never been billed.
There's a video of Linklider in 1972 talking about how the Internet is going to kill newspapers. It took a while, but it's finally happening.
