"Dr. Block says about 86 percent of Internet addicts have some other form of mental illness, but that unless a therapist is looking for it, Internet addiction is likely to be missed." By "other form of mental illness," we're guessing Asperger's sufferers like BitTorrent's not-so-adorably quirky founder Bram Cohen. [Canada.com] (Photo by Irina Slutsky)

Considering clumsiness is a major factor in Asperger's Syndrome, how do they use the mouse? And if they could - did the Nielson ratings folk take them into account when they canceled my favorite show in favor of BayWatch?
It just goes to show you. People with Asperger's Syndrome love David Hasselhoff.
Comments needs an edit button: Missing line from above: "And if they could - did they take into account their compulsive behavoir prior to the internet's rise, and if so -"

"And if they could - did they take into account similar obsessive fixations prior to the rise of the internet - and if they did -"
Wow... that's quite a reach just to make fun of Bram Cohen.
Never prouder to be a Portlander working in the internet industry...
As a parent of a child with Asperger's Syndrome this kind of quack medicine has little place in the world of serious research towards a cure for Autism. Shame on you Dr. Block and shame on the school that gave your your worthless degree. Do us all a favor and leave the theories to the parents and legitimate medical community.
@search.scientist: Whoa, hold on, the article says nothing about Asperger's/autism. That stuff is just Jackson West's commentary.
Horse, cart...
