For a woman's password, offer chocolate; for a man's, try porn

ChocolateSexy.jpg45 percent of women will give away passwords to strangers pretending to be market researchers when offered a chocolate bar in exchange, according to Infosecurity Europe's survey of 576 office workers. Men fell prey to the scheme 10 percent of the time. Surprised? Don't be. That's addiction. Chocolate contains anandamide and for women in particular, its a psychoactive and addictive food. Academics report that 40 percent of women crave chocolate more than any other food. 53 percent like it better than sex. Meanwhile, only 15 percent of men have a similar hankering. But that should lead to an obvious conclusion for anyone trying to snag their passwords: ComScore reports that more than 70 perent of men from 18 to 34 visit a porn site each month. If 53% of women like chocolate more than sex, I can't imagine size (and I don't chips vs. bars) being all that important.

  • In other totally unrelated news, 53% of women have lousy sex partners.

53 percent [of women] like it better than sex. Meanwhile, only 15 percent of men have a similar hankering.

This is easily explained by the fact that women are better lovers than men.

Oh, hey, why didn't anyone think to ask Marianne Faithfull for a quote?

  • I'll refrain form commenting on the chocolate vs. pron aspect (though it BEGS to be commented on), and simply say this:

People shouldn't even *know* their passwords. They should be safely tucked away into a password manager, where no amount of chocolate (or porn) can tempt them out of you.
