When there is hot blood between partners, it's always a disaster. Ham and Rees may have captured the marquee but you can bet the fund has hemorrhaged, and Crisp and Vannelli were unlikely to have walked away empty-handed. Also, Hamm and Rees will probably break up. Judging from the pics (and the profession), Hamm's level of smugness is way up there. If Rees's is even VC-average, that relationship is out of balance with the universe.
