New York-based VOIP trade publisher and event organizer Pulvermedia has been written off by investor TICC Capital Group according to sources cited by GigaOm's Om Malik. In a classy move, TICC allegedly shut down the company's bank accounts while founder Jeff Pulver was proselytizing in San Jose at Spring VON, resulting in a string of bounced checks. Ouch. Is that Julia Allison is the pink outfit?
I love my early VON schwag; The canvas bags, oversized polo shirts, decent quality pens. Must confess I have not attended a VON conference in at least 3-4 years. Nice to see he can still work his magic to have some hot honeys hold his hair while he pukes in his shoes...
moar.
If Melissa doesn't have a writeup about the girl in pink by lunchtime, the terrorists will have won.
That woman has a belly
When did Julia Allison become a belly dancer?
I've always wondered how/why Pulver exists. Now I know that he doesn't.
Say what you want about Jeff, he's an awesome barometer for the VoIP industry. He sold VON to Key3 at the top of the market and bought it back when they went tits-up when the market bottomed out. The new rumor is that he's already repurchased Pulvermedia, starting the cycle anew.
All i care about is when can I expect the spam for VON crap to finally stop?!?!
