During this interview with Fortune, FriendFeed cofounder Bret Taylor explains why he and three other ex-Googlers happily left Google's organic, locally sourced swaddling for an uncertain future at a startup:
During this When we make decisions, I get to just look up from my computer and and say 'Hey do you think we should do this?' and if my people say yes, we just do it. I haven't made a single PowerPoint presentation. We just talk to each other. No matter how innovative a culture is at a large company, you can't really reproduce it.
