I think I've seen him around in the comments before.
I think I've seen him get his butt kicked by a level 5 troll on WoW before. Unless that happened on GigaOM, can't remember.
Wait - was this a recent conversation, or from 1999? And was she PR or marketing?
@Jeremy It was a he and it was today.
Why is this seen as unreasonable and entitled? There's no job security anymore today, so taking a salaried job is a sucker's bet - there's nothing to gain and everything to lose. Either you go with a company that will offer you a piece of the upside, or you start your own business. Otherwise you're just trading away your time to an employer who's unlikely to show you any loyalty when times get hard.
Jesus Christ, that title reads like I wrote this. Throw in a still from V for Vendetta and a NIN soundtrack and I'm sure I posted this at some point.
