VentureBeat is hosting a digital media happy hour at The Belmont in Los Angeles. If you're still in the Bay Area, SF New Tech is having their "belly up" meetup tonight at Mars Bar in San Francisco. David Schwimmer — yes, Friends David Schwimmer — will be at Apple's San Francisco flagship on Stockton Street, talking about his cleverly titled movie, Run Fat Boy Run. As a drinking game, take a swig from your flask for every question about Jennifer Aniston. For those who have a Very Important Startup and can't be bothered with drinking when there are VCs to pitch, attend one of these two meetings: SWOT Analysis in Software Development (that's "Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities,Threats" for you non-B-schoolers) and The Elevator Pitch Roundtable. Your startup will seem less important after a round of stinging criticism. And you'll wish you were drinking.
