YouTube updated its leaderboard and put "CANSEI DE SER SEXY Music is My Hot Hot Sex" at the top with 89,750,739 views. That makes it the most popular YouTube video of all time. Watch it and you'll worry about how that could have happened.
According to YouTube data gathered by Waxy.org, only about 1 in 21,487 viewers rated "CANSEI DE SER SEXY Music is My Hot Hot Sex." Viewers of the other nine most popular videos rated them once every 590 views. Conclusion: Humans didn't watch "CANSEI DE SER SEXY Music is My Hot Hot Sex" 90 million times, computers did. Cheating has never made me feel better about my fellow man.

Nobody cheats my boy Judson and lives!
Comments are a indicator as well..
Evolution of dance has over 100k in comments.. and this one has about 1/20th that.. a substantial amount of those comments being "what the fuck, how did this get so many views"
The rating is an indicator as well.. 3/5 star rating.. thats pretty low when compared to the other top 10 videos.
I bet they were banking on everyone's curiosity by watching it to see what the top video was on Youtube to fill in the mis-matched ratio. PWnED!
Evolution of Dance has been up a lot longer which could explain it's lack of comments. It's my guess is that most of these views are from embeds elsewhere, thus people wouldn't rate it.

When Gawker was using video people always thought we were "cheating" the system, how could videos get thousands of views in just minutes people would say? It was because we placed it on Gizmodo, that's how. It's very difficult to fake views and I've found YouTube is pretty accurate in counting them.
The bigger question is why hasn't it been pulled yet for copyright violation?
@BLAKELEY: no, the bigger question is how people can listen to this crap.
No one has noted that this song was the first song/music used in the IPod Touch launch and advertising. Any connection?
I dugg it.
Ears bleeding...eyes swelling...head spinning.. I need to quit teh internets for a little bit.
I love it, but mostly because somebody associated with the band has a really big botnet. Go botnet! Go botnet!
The video is accessed automatically every time someone starts YouTube from an IPhone. They had meant to link the commercial video but got this one instead.
