"Googirl" article vanishes from Web

115,000 copies of San Francisco magazine, on newsstands throughout the city, name Marissa Mayer as Google's "Googirl." 404 But on the Web, the article has gone missing. Could the editors have belatedly Googled "googirl"? The 13-page profile has been reposted with the humdrum headline "The adventures of Marissa." Boring. They could at least have gone with "Marissa explains it all." Any other suggestions for a replacement headline?

The writer in question is named Julian Guthrie and a woman (according to the writer bio at the end of the San Francisco magazine article).

Women are allowed to call each other "girls."

the sad part is that the writer/editor who did the "googirl" title was probably too innocent to even think there could be a crude meaning.

This sucks! I own googirl (dot) com and now google moved me from the top of the search results cause of the MM article. Hey, I'm just trying to make a living too.... Looks like i'll have to switch it to a NSFW Tube site.
