I tried not to go there, really I did: San Francisco magazine's profile of Google cupcake princess Marissa Mayer is titled "Googirl". I'm guessing they didn't actually Google "googirl" before publishing. But if Marissa really is Google's googirl? You go, girl.

lol, thats awesome.
hahah...great catch.
personally, I like how in the cropped photo it looks like she's sitting under a heading that just says "OG"
Her parents must be so f-ing proud.
I like to believe Marissa totally unstands the meaning of "random play" and "Googirl," and she's taking the lead to bring casually open sexiness back to San Francisco.
Also, I'd like a pony.
Hey Melissa, one of the commenters in the last Marissa thread caught the Googirl double meaning. How about mad props where they're due?
win
So this is what happened to Tracy Flick when she grew up.
HAHA WOW AND WOW
Which girl doesnt like a nice map of hawaii splattered on them?
Will Mayer ever stop being insanely in love with herself.
Meeting her makes you feel like, you have suddenly become part of a bad high school movie!
She loves to hear herself talk and spend hers and Google employees' preparing for photoshots of her, in fluffy magazines.
It is a wonder, that the execs in Google tolerate her.Maybe because of the affair with Larry.
She is by far, the most hated person at Google.
Oddly, Googling "googirl" does not provide search results that include the website that resides at www (dot) googirl (dot) com.
A site that is, uh, NSFW.
Yes, great catch. Oh no, wait, that was me in the comments on the first story.
@seanpercival: holy shit thread over. you win.
@Ted Dziuba: It's a great one, but derivative... read a similar comment on Digg a year ago and had to call everyone I know to tell them. My mom was less impressed than the rest.
Wow, a short post of nothing.
But the quality of your other stuff has been good, so I hope this still bring you your $5 per 7,500 hits or however much it is.
