    FOWA, Spiffy and Bubble Lounge

The Future of Web Apps conference starts today in Miami . Either you're there, ogling Joseph Smarr from Plaxo and Kevin Rose from Digg, or elsewhere, reading this. If you're still in town, we've got three events tonight. Starting at 5 p.m., the Telecom Council is giving out Spiffy Awards tonight, to the "most outstanding telecommunications startups." If you're not nominated, try working harder. That seems easier. In Sunnyvale, SDForum is launching the Green and Clean Evening Series, with tonight's topic addressing the problems global enterprises face. "Web 2.0: Amateur Hour or Mass-ive Knowledge?" is the topic tonight at Bubble Lounge in San Francisco; Jimmy Wales from Wikipedia will be there to face off against Andrew Keen, author of The Cult of the Amateur Hour: How the Internet is Killing our Culture. Inforum Members and guests only. (Crash it!)
