Google and Twitter have teamed up to create a Super Twitter Tuesday Google Map, a useful enough mashup which shows election-related Twitter messages by location. More exciting? Google bought Jaiku, Twitter's main competitor, last fall.
What this tells us: Jaiku, which has a much smaller and more European user base than Twitter, isn't really doing it for Google. Could Twitter founder Evan Williams, who already sold his first startup, Blogger, to Google, get a second payday? That would be one way to solve Twitter's problem with finding a way to make money.

It's ok. Twitter won't stay up long enough for this to matter.
What Twitter needs (as did Blogger) is Google's server network.
What Google needs is for someone within the organization to kick some ass and keep it from turning into the disorganized mess that Yahoo became.
I thought you said "last fail." at the end.. not "last fall".. either way works.
