Web maven Sean Parker is, as flagged on Valleywag earlier this week, joining the Founders Fund, the new entrepreneur-friendly venture capital firm set up by former Paypal founder, Peter Thiel. The news is out, officially, in an interview with the San Francisco Chronicle. Amusingly, Sean Parker's wonderfully over-the-top character — hard-partying, erotic-art-loving, accident-prone — is reduced to a timid adjective. The Napster and Facebook founder is, says the Chronicle, one of Silicon Valley's more colorful personalities.
